The life of this
world and the life God gives are totally different. Anything we obtain from this
world is wide open for destruction by the enemy, whether it be material or plans
of the mind. Only those things that are brought to the cross of Christ and are
according to His plan are safe from the destroyer and will result in true joy
and eternal abundance.
Heavenly Father,
we get so distracted by the things of this world and by wanting what others
have. Forgive us for getting our minds on the things of this world that are
temporary. Help us to look to the things of God and build our lives on those
things because they will last throughout eternity. We pray in Jesus' name,
Amen.
