We hear this
scripture quoted often, but do we understand what things we are able to more
than conquer? The Word says we can defeat any trouble, any hardship, any
persecution, any famine, and poverty, any danger, or any threat to our lives.
Doesn't that bring sweet comfort to us, who live in a world where all those
things loom around us every day? If we are in Christ, we are more than
conquerors over any of these things, because Christ already defeated them for
us.
Heavenly Father,
forgive us for being anxious and fearful about the problems and tribulations of
this world. Help us to remember that all these things are under our feet because
You are our fortress. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
