Ephesians
3:20
"Now to him
who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his
power that is at work within us." NIV
"Now unto
him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think,
according to the power that worketh in us." KJV
Our God is
omnipotent (all powerful) and we trust that there is nothing impossible for Him.
However, we do tend to doubt or even fail to realize that He can and does do
things more powerful than we could ever imagine through us. Yes, through you and
through me. He works by the power of His Holy Spirit within us. We can do all
things through His power that dwells in us. These are things that God desires to
work through us, not for us to use the power like we want.
Heavenly Father,
we stand in awe that You would choose to use us, lowly, weak human beings, to
work Your mighty deeds. May we be open vessels, filled with the Holy Spirit's
power and ready to do Your will. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
