The way of this
world is to tolerate everyone and let everyone do his own thing. It doesn't take
a rocket scientist to figure out that this method does not produce harmony, but
just the opposite, chaos. The things one group does offends another group. The
way some people live and believe infringes on the lives and beliefs of some
other group. God tells us as Christians, to be like Christ, who was one with the
Father, who was compassionate, loving, and humble. If we live and believe in
this way, there will be nothing between people but harmony.
Heavenly Father,
we see how the world tries to cater to everyone's diverse beliefs and ways of
living. We see how the world is full of chaos, hatred, prejudice, and conflict.
Give us hearts after Your own heart so that we will all be in one accord with
Christ. In His name we pray, Amen.
