When it seems that
all we have hoped for and believed has been destroyed, and we fear we have been
left with nothing, no hope, take courage my friend! God does His most awesome
work in the darkest hours. While the disciples thought their Lord was dead and
gone, He was busy walking through the gates of hell and taking the keys of death
from the hand of Satan. It is human to doubt that God is working or that He even
cares. But if we stir up our faith through His Word, and wait, we will see the
marvelous thing He was doing while we thought all was lost.
Heavenly Father,
hallelujah! We can only stand in awe of Your mighty work and the victory of our
Lord Jesus Christ. In His name, Amen.
