 Ephesians 5:20 "Always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ." NIV "Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ." KJV The key to a life of contentment is an attitude of giving thanks to God for His blessings no matter what may be going wrong in our lives. If we focus on the negative things, we miss out on the true blessings of God and we are left in a state of discontent and complaining. Heavenly Father, when we find ourselves focusing on the things that are going wrong, stop us and help us to know that they are a part of living in this world and that basking in Your blessings will bring us comfort and will bring You glory.
