LOVE IS A CHOICE

John 15:17 "This is my command: Love each other." NIV "These things I command you, that ye love one another." KJV Love is a command to all of us who have accepted Jesus Christ as our personal Saviour. But, it is our choice to obey that command or not. We can choose to be loving toward others or not. We can choose to do nothing, but this is still disobedience to God's command. And, we will never know the loving fellowship of others. Real love requires choice and effort. Heavenly Father, show us if there is a lack of love in our hearts. Help us Lord, to be obedient to Your command to love even the unlovely. Fill us with the desire to love as You have loved us.
