REPENTANCE, THE OLD IS GONE, THE NEW HAS COME

2 Corinthians 5:17 "Therefor, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creations, the old has gone, the new has come." NIV "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." KJV Repentance is a change of mind and change of practice of anything that we know offends God. It opens the way for the Holy Spirit to restore our spiritual health. It allows our old sinful natures to pass away and our new spiritual natures to let us become more like our Lord. Heavenly Father, it is only by Your grace that we can be drawn to repent of our sins. We ask that You accept our humble repentance of our old natures so that You will make us into new spiritual creations. Then we will become more Christlike.
