TO KNOW HIM

Ephesians 1:17

"I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know Him better." NIV

"That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him." KJV

The Spirit of Christ draws us to God by love. As we give Him more and more of ourselves, the Holy Spirit shares God's wisdom and deep things about God. By His love and our desire to be near Him, He will use this way to reveal Himself to us.


Heavenly Father, what a glorious gift, the Holy Spirit, you have given us. We ask that you would help us to trust Him and stir up the faith that is already in us, so that the Holy Spirit will reveal the things of our God to us. In Jesus' name. Amen.
