HEAR AND OBEY

Romans 2:13

"For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God's sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous." NIV


"For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified." KJV


Faith in Jesus Christ is not just believing He is the Saviour. It is also living our lives so as to reflect our beliefs. We will be living out the Word of God, and living as Jesus did. We can believe that seatbelts save lives in a car crash, but unless we put our seatbelts on, they will be of no use if we are in a head on collision. It is the same with out faith. Even Satan knows and believes that Jesus is the Christ.


Heavenly Father, we ask you to help us to live our belief in you and Jesus Christ so that we will be doers of the Word and not just hearers. Help us to be fruitful in doing good works so that your love will shine out from us and draw others to you. In Jesus' name. Amen.
