BUILDING HOLY FAITH


Jude 1:20


"But you, dear friends, build yourselves up in your most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit." NIV


"But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost." KJV


We are exhorted to build up our faith. This lets us know we cannot sit and rest, expecting the Lord to keep our faith strong. He gives us all a measure of faith. It is up to us to build it up so that it will be fruitful. How do we build up our faith? By the Word of God, hearing it, studying it, and meditating on it.


Heavenly Father, how thankful we are for your gift of faith to each of us. We ask for Your grace to help us in building up our faith so that we may be useful for Your Kingdom. In Jesus' name. Amen.
