Psalm 46:1
"God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble." NIV
"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." KJV
So many times we let fear and worry come over us when we are faced with difficulty. If we will just think of the power of the Lord's strength and our free access to it, we will quench all fear and worry. The Lord's strength conquered Satan during the forty days in the wilderness. His strength conquered the depression and sorrow in the Garden of Gethsemane. The Lord's strength conquered death in the tomb. Our Lord gives us access to this same strength. We have no reason to fear.
Heavenly Father, forgive us when our faith is shaken and we begin to worry and fret. We ask for awareness of the Holy Spirit who reminds us of this awesome strength of our Lord that has also been given to us. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen

Thank you...the visual was awesome too...I am needing to let go of worry and fear and run to my refuge.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing
Thank you! We do know that faith is incompatible with fear and/or worry. Try to look forward THROUGH the problem and let God take care of it. Blessings.
ReplyDeleteDr. Bobbie:
ReplyDeleteI needed this verse today! My husband lost his job yesterday, and although we both feel peace about it, it's easy to let doubt and fear enter in.
Thank you for posting this day!
Blessings,
