We have all used Christian lingo. We may even wear our
Christian symbol jewelry faithfully. And isn't it a certainty
we are right with God if we are attending church
regularly? These are just vain forms of religion if our
hearts are not surrendered to God. Failing to do the
outward acts of traditional religion does not make us
impure. But, failing to have a pure and clean heart
before God will make all we do in outward religious
acts worthless in His eyes. In fact, without a pure and
clean heart before God, we are lost. Let's examine
our hearts! God already knows their condition.
Read Matthew 15:8
"Those people honor me with their lips, but their
hearts are far from me. (NIV)
"This people draweth nigh unto me with their
mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but
their heart is far from me." (KJV)

Good point very well made. Christ did say not everyone who calls Him Lord will enter Heaven, but those who do what His Father has asked.
