LOOKING FOR GOD

Often pray and then start looking for the answer immediately.
Are we disappointed and lose the solid trust we had, because
it's been enough time for Him to answer and He has not? It
could be that we make the mistake of praying for answers and
looking for answers, instead of communing with God and
looking for Him in our daily lives. When we get our eyes off
Him and begin to look for evidence that He is doing what we
want Him to do, we have lost the purpose of prayer: seeking
and finding God.

Heavenly Father, so often we seek answers from You instead
of seeking You. We know that You will take care of our needs
and our situations if we put our trust in You, giving you the
worship and praise only You deserve. Forgive us we pray, in
Jesus' name.

Read Luke 24:21

"...but we had hoped that he was the one who was going
to redeem Israel. And what is more, it is the third day
since all this took place." (NIV)

"But we trusted that it had been he which should have
redeemed Israel: and beside all this, to day is the third
day since these things were done." (NIV)

  4. I've learned, through the seasons of life that God answers in His time.

His answers have not always been what I sought, but they have always been what I needed.

He has provided for us in all ways, and richly.

God bless you, and thank you.

  5. I blame Google! :P Instant answers to anything we want, but that's not how God operates. You are so right, we need to seek Him and not answers!
