God's Word tells us how to be happy. If we have a good and
pure heart as the basis of our actions, we will have happiness.
If we live continually in the boundaries of God's will, we will
know true happiness. Happiness is the result of a pure heart
and obedience.
Heavenly Father, we thank you and praise you that you have
revealed to us the way to find true happiness. Give us a pure
heart and the determination to obey, so that we may know
you fully. In Jesus' name.
Read Psalm 119:1

Happiness (or what I prefer to call joy) is achieved by glorifying the Father. All good things come from Him and through Him.
