REMEMBER WHERE YOU CAME FROM

Rather than judging others, we need to remember where we came from,
what we were when the Lord found us. We were ignorant of the Truth,
doing our own thing, thinking we knew what we were doing, satisfying
our selfish wants, and scowling at those who questioned us.

Heavenly Father, bring to our minds our own depraved state we were in
when you found us, before we accepted you as our Saviour. Give us love and the urgency to pray for those who are still imprisoned there, that we won't judge them. In Jesus' name.

Read Titus 3:3

"At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by
all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being
hated and hating one another." (NIV)

"For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived,
serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another." (KJV)

  1. That is a great post. Don't forget however that we are told to exercise spiritual discernment in Hebrews and we are to be very discerning when it comes to sin, false teaching, wicked behavior, struggles. If there is a mantra that I think Satan has championed heavily, it is don't judge. We loose sight of our responsibility as spiritually mature people ought to be.
