There is room for only one in the number one place within our hearts. It
is evident which is number one in our hearts when the second place is in
conflict with the number one. The second place has less status and will
lose out every time. We choose who is first in that one and only spot. It
is either God or self gain.
Read Matthew 6:24
"No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the
other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot
serve both God and Money." (NIV)
"No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon." (KJV)
