When we become aware of the shortcomings, sins, and less than desirable traits of others, it is a witness to the truth that we are capable of those very same vile things. It is only by God's grace that we have not fallen into those same practices. So, who are we to judge another when we are capable of the same things?
Read Romans 2:1
"You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgement on someone else, for at whatever point you judge the other, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgement do the same things." (NIV)
