It is one thing to be openly and unashamedly dishonest and unfair. But
it is far worse to pretend to be honest while hiding and disguising the
face of deceit. God detests the intention to deceive by those who
cunningly try to make themselves look truthful and innocent. They are
wolves in sheep's clothing. Is it any wonder our Great Shepherd abhors
them.
Read Proverbs 11:1
"The Lord abhors dishonest scales, but accurate weights are His
delight. (NIV)
"A false balance is abomination to the LORD: but a just weight is his
delight." (KJV)
