If we insist on
living and believing in our own way, we put ourselves in great danger. Our own
way feels right because it makes us feel so comfortable and there is no
sacrificing or self-examination. There's really not much to be concerned about.
What a great deception! To be right in God's eyes, we will be in a constant
struggle with our own human natures.
Heavenly Father,
forgive us for insisting on doing things our own way. Empower us to take
responsibility in this spiritual battle for our own souls. In Jesus' name we
pray, Amen.
